I ordered some silicone truffle from Amazon. Then I had to make these. They sounded like something I needed to have on hand for the nights of summer breeze coming from the Lake. I have to say, they are simply delicious. I prefer them frozen to where my husband likes them at room temperature. I did not make them too sweet.
As I am scrolling through Pintrest, I keep seeing post for Fat Bombs. Never had one and was curious.
I love using Nellie and Joes Famous Key West Lime Juice. Add around 1/2 cup of juice to a small bowl. I used Knox gelatin. (you can use any gelatin forming like agar, tapioca or pectin). Set aside
In a saucepan over medium heat; add 1/2 cup of pyure sweetener, 4 large eggs, and 1/2 c butter or ghee. Stir and then add in the gelatin mixture. Stir up and place in silicone cups. Zest a lemon/lime and place the tray in the freezer.
I left mine in the freezer, and just grab one when I want to enjoy a piece of goodness.
